
Public Relations / Communications Committee
They are responsible in collecting stats from coaches to be printed in the Talon and all information from parents, players and coaches to be printed in the weekly Talon. They are responsible for updating the website each week with game results, directions, merchandise and etc.
Fundraising Committee:
They are responsible for presenting fund raising ideas to the GAMFA Board for approval. They are responsible for coordinating the fundraising events and efforts.
Legion Field Groundskeeper:
They are responsible for the maintenance and preparations in getting the field ready for the home games and the GAMFA events.
Cheerleading Coordination Committee:
They are responsible in making sure the cheerleading coaching staff, cheerleaders and parents needs are met by fostering and encouraging communication between the cheerleading coaching staff and the GAMFA Board. They must coordinate all the necessary tasks for Cheer Fest. This committee must have a cheer representative from the Eagles and Falcons for the KYFCL monthly meetings and have alternates in the event the representative is not able to attend the KYFCL meetings and report all information to the Board.
Football Coordination Committee:
They are responsible for making sure all the needs of the football coaches and players are met by fostering and encouraging communication between the football staff and the GAMFA Board. This committee must have a football representative from the Eagles and the Falcons for the KYFCL monthly meetings and have alternates in the event the representative is not able to attend the KYFCL meetings and report all information to the Board.
Game Day Coordination Committee:
They must ensure the gates are unlocked, the flag is put up, and plan any special events for the day. They must set-up and tear down the playing field, coordinate chain-gang help, lineup press box team which consist of an announcer, score board operator, spotter and act as the "go between" for the officials, coaches and parents should the need arise.
Ambulance /EMT Committee:
They are responsible for making sure there is an ambulance or EMT at all home games.
Merchandise Committee:
They are responsible for the care, inventory and ordering of merchandise. They must coordinate the sale of merchandise on game days.
Event Committee:
They are responsible for coordinating, scheduling and organizing picture days, Homecomings, end of year events and GAMFA cheerleader/football programs.
Concessions Committee:
They are responsible for the inventory, ordering and stocking the supplies for the concession stand. They must ensure there are sufficient supplies on game days. They must ensure that all equipment is operable for game day.
Equipment / Shed Committee:
They are responsible for ordering and organizing equipment and supplies, repair of equipment, coordinating player equipment hand outs and turn ins, and supply coaches with a team water cooler and other equipment.
Grievance Committee: ( Board Members ONLY )
They are responsible for making sure that the coaching staff and parents work together for the good of the program. They must investigate and resolve all issues between the coaches, parents and players.
Finance Committee: ( Board Members ONLY )
They are responsible to ensure that the finances of the program are used only for GAMFA and the good of the organization. They must ensure that all bills that are submitted are for items that were approved by the board prior to purchase. They are to report a accurate balance of all funds to the board at every meeting. They must maintain records of all receipts and bills as required by business law. They must also do monthly audits of the financial accounts to prove that all funds have been used according to policy.
